A Traveler's Journey

A Traveler’s Journey is a solo roleplaying game that focuses on exploration.

Inspired by Takuma Okada's Alone Among The Stars. In this game, you play as a traveler who wanders to various places on Earth. No enemy to be defeated, and no specific skills needed. The game’s objective is just to travel around the world—with or without any purpose, embracing the vibe around the place, getting to know new people (if there is one), then writing down everything you have seen and felt into the journal. 

Available in English and Indonesian.

What do you need to play this game?

- A pen / pencil

- A notebook as your journal

- A piece of blank paper as your map

- 6 kinds of dice : d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, and d20 (if you don't have them, using any digital dice generator is also fine.)

(You may also print the files to play without screen.)

Notes :

- You may play as yourself, or make a traveler character for you to roleplay with. (Player’s Character data includes name, gender, age, race, personality, physical appearance, purpose of traveling, character background, etc.)

- Feel free to decide when you will continue your journey. You can write in the journal everyday, 3 times a day, 3 times a week, or just on weekends.

- This game can be played to simply end a day, spend a leisure time, generate prompts for a story or a trpg session, or as a writing therapy device. You are free to explore this game as much as you want.
